Accounting Clerk (Contract)
An information technologies company in Shelton, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry and transactional accounting skills who can support daily financial operations in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile invoices, payments, and account records for accuracy
- Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation
- Assist with billing, data entry, and general ledger support
- Research discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve issues
- Prepare reports and spreadsheets for accounting and operational review
