Accounting Clerk (Contract) - Information Technologies Company | Shelton, CT
An information technologies company in Shelton, CT is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry and transactional accounting skills who can support daily financial operations in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Process and enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
+ Reconcile invoices, payments, and account records for accuracy
+ Maintain organized financial files and supporting documentation
+ Assist with billing, data entry, and general ledger support
+ Research discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve issues
+ Prepare reports and spreadsheets for accounting and operational review
+ Support month-end administrative and accounting tasks as needed
+ Handle sensitive financial information with accuracy and confidentiality
