We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join a global finance team responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting consolidation activities, and providing valuable insights to business leadership. This role offers an opportunity to work within a complex multinational environment, collaborating with stakeholders across finance, accounting, and business functions.
Key Responsibilities- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes across multiple legal entities.
- Prepare and review consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations, and foreign currency translation entries.
- Maintain and reconcile financial reporting and consolidation systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, reporting procedures, and financial governance standards.
- Manage and support chart of accounts structures, including ongoing maintenance and implementation of enhancements.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and equity reports.
- Prepare supporting schedules, financial disclosures, and documentation required for reporting purposes.
- Support statutory reporting requirements for international entities in collaboration with local finance teams.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during interim and annual audit engagements.
- Prepare and distribute monthly management reporting packages for leadership teams.
- Conduct variance analysis and financial performance reviews by comparing actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Collaborate with finance and planning teams to ensure consistency between financial reporting and operational performance metrics.
- Develop and enhance reporting templates and dashboards to improve reporting efficiency and decision-making.
- Prepare and post consolidation-related journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve reporting and close processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to financial systems and reporting technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Several years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or consolidation functions.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting principles, consolidation accounting, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience working within multinational or multi-entity business environments.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and large dataset analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) or active pursuit of certification.
- Experience in public accounting and corporate finance environments.
- Exposure to multi-currency reporting and international accounting frameworks.
- Knowledge of financial reporting automation, process optimization, and business intelligence tools.
