Senior Inventory Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their North America Controllership team. This role will be responsible for inventory accounting, month-end close activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, inventory analysis, and internal controls. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise, a collaborative mindset, and experience supporting inventory and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inventory-related journal entries and support monthly close activities.
• Lead inventory account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to ensure accurate inventory accounting.
• Analyze inventory reserves, valuation, and inventory-related estimates.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventories, investigate variances, and recommend

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience with an emphasis on inventory, cost, or manufacturing accounting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and inventory valuation principles.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience analyzing large datasets.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
