Office Manager Position Overview
Our manufacturing client is seeking a reliable and proactive Office Manager to serve as the central hub of daily office operations. This role supports accounting, HR, and administrative functions while acting as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams. The Office Manager will work closely with leadership and a newly incoming Controller to keep processes running smoothly and efficiently.
Key ResponsibilitiesInvoicing & Customer Setup
Process and email customer invoices accurately and on time
Set up new customers, including account details, credit card or credit terms, and initial charges
Maintain customer records and ensure data accuracy
Vendor & Administrative Support
Assist with vendor setup and maintenance, with approval from the Controller
Support general office administration, including ordering supplies, scheduling, and data entry
Handle office overflow and ad hoc administrative needs across departments
HR & Insurance Support
Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files
Support benefits administration and coordination, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance
Serve as a point of contact for basic HR-related questions and documentation
Office Management & Operations
Act as the day-to-day operational hub for the office
Support customer touchpoints and internal communication
Identify opportunities for process improvement and help implement efficient workflows
Provide cross-functional support to ensure smooth operations across all departments
Previous experience in office management, administration, or a similar operational support role
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfort working across accounting, HR, and administrative functions
Clear, professional communication skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with basic office systems and data entry (ERP or accounting exposure a plus)
Reports directly to leadership and the incoming Controller
Works closely with accounting, HR, and operations teams
Serves as a shared resource and support hub across departments
