This position combines business development, account management, and recruitment to support the growth of our contingent permanent placement division. Unlike high-volume staffing, this role focuses on targeted, consultative outreach. You will recruit professionals, drive business development, and nurture client accounts to ensure long-term partnerships.
DUTIES Sales, Business Development, & Account Management (50% or more)- Identify and prospect potential clients.
- Conduct thoughtful outreach through phone calls, emails, and meetings to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and present proposals tailored to client needs.
- Cross-sell other lines of our business.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure new partnerships.
- Maintain consistent communication with new and existing clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, including hiring managers and executives.
- Conduct job order intakes with clients.
- Bring in new job orders and communicate client needs with recruiters.
- Meet with new prospects or existing clients via phone, virtually, or in person.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Draft and post positions online.
- Sort job applications.
- Cold-call, message, and email candidates.
- Conduct brief phone screens with candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and experience to ensure they meet the requirements of the position.
- Summarize and take notes on candidates’ skillset & career interests.
- Verify clinical licensure if necessary.
- Proofread & review resumes.
- Draft candidate write-ups.
- Schedule candidate interviews.
- Prepare candidates for interviews.
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the interview process.
- Debrief with candidates’ post-interview.
- Communicate client feedback & updates to candidates.
- Perform reference checks upon client request.
- Give job offers and handle negotiations.
- Record and track progress daily.
- Report activity.
- Set & hit personal goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our internal database Bullhorn CRM.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate’s at minimum.
- Work experience (6 months-5 years) in sales or business development a must.
- Experience in a staffing agency environment a plus (executive or provider recruitment a plus).
- Experience using Bullhorn CRM, Linked In Recruiter, Zoom Info, Indeed, Zoom Business a plus.
- Interpersonal/Communication skills, both written & verbal – will be speaking with clients, providers, leaders, and executives
- Desire to learn, grow, and develop their career long-term with close professional mentorship
- Able to balance persistence and patience with a strong sense of urgency
- Comfortability with delayed gratification and slower recruitment cycles
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with self-direction
- Ability to be a team-player and collaborate with others
