Full-Time | $30–$32/hour | Set Weekly Schedule | 8am–5pm (1-hour break)

Dental Associates of Connecticut is seeking a Full-Time Traveling Dental Assistant to support our clinical teams across multiple established locations. This is a structured, predictable travel position — you’ll always know your schedule in advance.
What Makes This Role Unique- Set weekly schedule — you’ll know your location in advance
- One location per day (no bouncing between offices mid-day)
- Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 1-hour break
- Competitive $30–$32/hour

- Monday – Avon
- Tuesday – Prospect (every other week) / West Hartford once monthly
(Starting April: every other week in New Britain) - Wednesday – Prospect
- Thursday – Shelton
- Friday – Branford / New Britain (starting April)
You must be comfortable traveling between Avon, Branford, Prospect, Shelton, New Britain, and West Hartford.
What You’ll Do- Greet and seat patients
- Act as a liaison between the patient and doctor
- Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs
- Set up trays according to daily charts
- Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
- Take x-rays as needed
- Enter treatment plans
- Take alginates, pour and trim models
- Clean and disinfect operatories after each patient
- Package and sterilize instruments
- Keep operatories fully stocked
Requirements
What We’re Looking For- High school diploma or GED
- Dental assisting experience
- X-Ray & ICE Certification
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to assigned locations
- Dentrix Ascend experience (a plus)
- A desire to be part of a family-oriented team focused on delivering the best patient experience possible
