Full-Time | $30–$32/hour | Set Weekly Schedule | 8am–5pm (1-hour break)

Dental Associates of Connecticut is seeking a Full-Time Traveling Dental Assistant to support our clinical teams across multiple established locations. This is a structured, predictable travel position — you’ll always know your schedule in advance.

  • Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 1-hour break

Current Weekly Schedule (subject to change)
  • Monday – Avon
  • Tuesday – Prospect (every other week) / West Hartford once monthly
    (Starting April: every other week in New Britain)
  • Wednesday – Prospect
  • Thursday – Shelton
  • Friday – Branford / New Britain (starting April)

You must be comfortable traveling between Avon, Branford, Prospect, Shelton, New Britain, and West Hartford.

What You’ll Do
  • Greet and seat patients
  • Act as a liaison between the patient and doctor
  • Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs
  • Set up trays according to daily charts
  • Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
  • Take x-rays as needed
  • Enter treatment plans
  • Take alginates, pour and trim models
  • Clean and disinfect operatories after each patient
  • Package and sterilize instruments
  • Keep operatories fully stocked

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Dental assisting experience
  • X-Ray & ICE Certification
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to assigned locations
  • Dentrix Ascend experience (a plus)
  • A desire to be part of a family-oriented team focused on delivering the best patient experience possible
