The Manager I Technical Services is responsible for overseeing and optimizing our technical services efforts. • Leading a mid-size engineering team in the implementation of strategic planning functions including product strategies, workforce requirements, and expense and capital budget proposals.
• Executing applied research or advanced development of new products, materials, or processes.
• Interacting with and providing updates to executive management and other departments on advanced technical issues.
• Keeping up to date on relevant technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilizing claim data analytics to drive systematic improvement.
• Addressing internal quality issues and communicating quality performance to site leaders.
• Assisting Product Managers with specification documents for products.
• Creating control plans to support new product development projects to help avoid problems that may occur.
• Developing and owning key measurable tracking, reporting, and actions to meet established targets.
• Identifying and providing opportunities for growth and development of team members.
• Facilitating product training for site employees as necessary.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or computer science or equivalent

• Supervisory Experience (required): 3-5 years of experience in a technical leadership role with strong management and leadership skills.
• 5 years of experience in the design and development of products.
• Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings.
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written.

Preferred:
Process Improvement And Data Analytical Skills.
