Civil Structural Engineer – Shelton, CT.

The Civil-Structural Engineer will provide comprehensive, disciplined engineering experience and perform in-depth forensic investigations such as construction structural defects, roadway design, worker safety issues, deficiencies, code compliance, quality assurance issues and more. The engineer will work independently, often outdoors, and occasionally travel day or overnight to investigate accidents. Their work helps clients resolve loss or litigation requirements.

• B.S. and/or M.S. in Civil Engineering
• Advanced educational degrees such as a Ph.D. are a plus
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is a plus
• At least 5 years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Certifications in specialized fields (e.g., aerial work platforms, foundations, exterior insulation, and finish systems (EIFS))
• Fluent or native in spoken and written English
• Ability to efficiently complete detailed work
• Effective time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and deliver timely work based on client needs
• Collaborative and friendly with ability to work independently
