Division:
Advanced Interconnect Solutions – Wafer Level Packaging

Position Overview

Senior Applications Specialist – responsible for providing local, site‑specific support for product development, including data package generation, systematic studies, optimization of existing products, scale‑up and testing of proprietary additives, process characterization using DoE methodologies, and analytical technique development.

Responsibilities
  • Characterize and optimize electrode position of metals for the semiconductor industry (damascene, wafer level packaging, etc.).
  • Execute Design of Experiments (DoE) to test existing and new formulations for viability and optimization.
  • Observe, analyze, calculate and interpret results, prepare reports and recommend actions.
  • Generate technical data for marketing presentations and applications.
  • Assist in commercialization by presenting results to customers and supporting alpha scale‑up studies.
  • Participate in work‑group meetings to address safety, process improvement, problem solving, and other topics.
  • Adhere to high safety standards and support a safety culture.
  • Maintain instrumentation (mechanical and analytical).
  • Work in a high‑paced multi‑task environment; self‑motivated and team oriented.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to engineering, sales and customers.
Qualifications
  • PhD or master’s degree in chemical engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience working in chemistry laboratories.

Salary range: $78,906 – $118,358.
