- Research, compile, and examine a wide variety of project-related data
- Assist staff with various projects and/or field assignments
- Perform computer-aided drafting tasks and create basic plans in AutoCAD
- Perform engineering calculations under the direction of an engineer
- Prepare written communications including emails, memorandum, field reports, and specifications
- Support site civil design projects from conceptual stages through design, permitting, construction documents, bidding, and construction oversight
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Previous and relevant work experience
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness
- Hands‑on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or HydroCAD (preferred)
- At least 2 years of completed coursework in a college level academic program (preferred)
- Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting (preferred)
Demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD and design software, with a strong foundation in Civil or Environmental Engineering principles. Capable of supporting site civil design projects through all phases, from conceptualization to construction oversight.
