We are seeking a Trade Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team in Shelton, CT (Hybrid). In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our compliance programs, leading audits, driving training initiatives, and championing continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the trade compliance audit, training and continuous improvement programs for the HTC team.

- Execute audit program.

- Maintain training program.

- Ensure high‑risk and high‑volume sites are trained annually on export and import compliance.

- Develop formal training plans.

- Lead awareness initiatives.

- Create and modify policies, procedures and work instructions.

- Work with Export and Import teams to deploy audit and training resources and tools.

- Enhance trade compliance processes through continuous improvement tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Previous management/leadership experience strongly desired
  • Previous experience leading an audit program
  • Experience with SAP and/or the SAP GTS module a plus
  • Understanding of CBP, EAR, OFAC, BIS and C‑TPAT would be a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed (less than 25%)
