AboutThe Role
Sectra is looking for a Technical Engineer to take a hands‑on role in operating, maintaining, and improving our Microsoft Azure‑based SaaS platforms. This role is suited for experienced systems administrators or cloud operations engineers who are comfortable owning production environments and driving operational improvements. This is an IT and cloud operations role, focused on stability, security, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do- Own operational support of Azure‑hosted SaaS environments
- Administer Windows and Linux systems in production healthcare environments
- Drive system reliability, performance, and availability improvements
- Plan and execute OS, application, and third‑party upgrades
- Manage monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows
- Implement and maintain backup, restore, and resiliency strategies
- Support hybrid connectivity between Azure, on‑prem, and customer networks
- Maintain and audit security configurations across subscriptions and systems
- Support security audits, compliance activities, and vulnerability remediation
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
- Act as an escalation point and technical mentor for junior team members
- Additional duties as assigned
- Travel as required (up to 25%)
- 5‑10 years of experience in systems administration or cloud operations roles
- Strong hands‑on experience operating Microsoft Azure environments
- Solid understanding of networking, identity management, and security controls
- Experience supporting production or regulated environments (healthcare, finance, government preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
- Experience with scripting and automation (Power Shell required)
- Background in managed services (MSP) or 24/7 operational environments
- Experience supporting audits, compliance frameworks, or security reviews
- Occasional after‑hours or on‑call support may be required
- Some travel may be required based on business needs

Other information: The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $125,000, based on experience and qualifications. Sectra combines numerous pay and benefits strategies to provide a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package.
