Are you a Salesforce Administrator looking to move beyond maintenance and actually build something? Have you worked in revenue operations (Rev Ops) or CRM administration and want to own the entire GTM stack at a company that's scaling fast? If you're a Salesforce Administrator, Revenue Operations Analyst, or CRM Admin who wants to be the first dedicated ops hire at a PE-backed vertical SaaS company, please read on.

This fast-growing vertical SaaS platform serves thousands of independent specialty retailers across the US, and they just closed a significant growth equity investment to professionalize go-to-market. They built $15M in revenue entirely through inbound and relationships, with no formal outbound sales motion. That changes now. The company is simultaneously bringing on Account Executives, Account Managers, and Demand Generation for the first time, and they need a Salesforce Administrator with Rev Ops know-how to build the data infrastructure that makes it all work.

This is the first dedicated operations hire in company history.

What You Will Own
  • Audit and rebuild a Salesforce instance that needs a full overhaul from the ground up
  • Own ongoing administration: user management, object configuration, and workflow automation
  • Maintain and expand integrations across sales engagement and marketing tools
  • Build pipeline dashboards, activity tracking, and revenue reporting for senior leadership
  • Manage lead routing, sequence setup, list hygiene, and campaign tracking as the sales team comes online
  • Partner with revenue leadership on Revenue Operations questions as the function grows
What You'll Need

This role is a strong fit for a Salesforce Administrator or Rev Ops Specialist who wants to be the first ops hire at a funded, fast-scaling vertical SaaS company.

  • You have hands-on Salesforce admin experience in a SaaS environment and have tackled a messy or heavily customized instance
  • You have some revenue operations or biz ops exposure and understand how sales and marketing data should flow
  • You are comfortable being first in a function with no playbook, no documentation, and no predecessor
  • You want to grow toward a more strategic revenue operations role and are not looking to stay in a pure admin lane
  • Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Admin certification
  • Experience with sales engagement tools (Sales Loft, Outreach, Attention, or similar)
  • Local to Shelton, CT and can be in office a couple days/week
