Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commodity Specialist to join our Electrical Products Sourcing Team to support the Datacom Business Unit. The primary purpose of this role is to support business unit initiatives by executing supply chain and sourcing strategies, monitoring supply chain KPIs, supporting strategic projects and commodity analytics.
- SAP Support (i.e. Master Data, Purchasing Parameters)
- Support stakeholders and work closely with the manager to complete routine/ad‑hoc requests
- Monitor Purchasing/Supply Chain KPI’s and execute corrective actions as needed
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to improve material and supply chain efficiency (i.e. Cost, Lead Time, On‑time Delivery, Past‑due Backlog)
- Support Procurement Process by evaluating suppliers on a scorecard basis
- Conduct market research to support supplier development, improve costs, and diversify the supply chain
- Bachelor’s in Business Management, Computer Sciences, Supply Chain, or other related discipline with 4+ years of validated experience
- Strong understanding of SAP (Material Management and Purchasing Parameters)
- Proficiency in analytical tools and databases, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Platform
- Project Management Experience
- Supply Chain/Sourcing Experience
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize stakeholder requests to ensure timely outcomes
