Material Handler

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Material Handler to support our operations by unloading sheet metal and structural metal from incoming trucks and supplying materials to operators as needed. Training is provided as needed to perform the job safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload sheet metal and structural material from delivery trucks using forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment. (Training provided as needed.)
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, accuracy, and proper documentation
• Safely store materials in designated rack locations
• Retrieve and deliver materials from storage racks to operators based on production needs
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse, or metal fabrication environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment.(Training Provided as needed)
• Basic understanding of sheet metal and structural materials (Training provided as needed)
• Ability to read work orders, material lists, and basic measurements (Training provided as needed)
