Production Dispatch & Admin Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Clerk to support daily manufacturing operations by monitoring dispatch lists, maintaining production logs, and documenting necessary information into a computerized system. This role aids in serving production with the necessary tools/paperwork to perform their job on time. Any training necessary to perform the job properly will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain daily dispatch lists to ensure jobs are started on time
• Track production status and update logs as needed
• Prepare and organize paperwork for starting jobs
• Assist with inventory tracking and material availability
• Maintain accurate records of production output and dispatch activity
• Support general administrative tasks within the production department including physically handling hardware or material.

  Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, etc.) (Training provided as needed)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Balance both hands on and computer tasks

Work Environment

• Manufacturing or production facility (office/shop floor mix)
• Frequent interaction with production staff and supervisors
• May require standing or walking on the shop floor periodically
