QUALITY INSPECTOR / CMM OPERATOR – 1ST SHIFT
Shelton, CT
Pay Range- Junior Candidates: $19-$25/hr.
- Experienced Quality Inspectors / CMM Operators:
Up to $25-30/hr doe
- Temporary Assignment only
- 1st Shift - 4-10 hour days with Friday open for optional OT Mon-Thursay-7am
-5pm
We are seeking Quality Inspectors and CMM Operators ranging from entry-level candidates to individuals with approximately 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality environment. Candidates must have hands‑on inspection experience and the ability to operate CMM equipment. Training will be provided on company specific systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality inspections on manufactured components
- Operate CMM equipment and inspection tools
- Measure part tolerances and document inspection results
- Read and interpret technical prints and engineering drawings
- Support calibration procedures and inspection activities
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections - Maintain accurate quality documentation and records
- Follow quality standards and manufacturing procedures
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools
- CMM operation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- ISO
9001 or IATF
16949 experience is a plus
