Engineering Manager

Growing electronic manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to drive operational excellence across engineering, manufacturing, SMT operations, test, assembly, and technical support functions.

This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for improving production performance, developing high‑performing teams, implementing lean manufacturing initiatives, and supporting continued business growth within a complex, regulated manufacturing environment.

• Lead engineering and manufacturing teams across SMT, PCB assembly, test, and production operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
• Improve manufacturing efficiency through lean principles, standard work, capacity planning, and process optimization
• Support new product introductions and collaborate with customers and engineering teams to improve manufacturability
• Develop and mentor engineering and technical staff while building a culture of accountability and operational excellence
• Oversee production planning, resource utilization, and manufacturing performance metrics
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for manufacturing and quality issues
• Support capital equipment planning, automation initiatives, and technology improvements
• Ensure compliance with industry quality and regulatory standards

• 5‑8+ years of leadership experience within electronic manufacturing or PCB assembly environments
• Strong background in SMT and PCB manufacturing operations
• Experience leading engineering, manufacturing, or operations teams in a high‑mix manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated success implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong understanding of production planning, ERP/MRP systems, capacity planning, and manufacturing metrics
• Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
