The Quality Engineer will lead the Quality Control Group and manage the Metrology Labs while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 standards. This role plays a key part in driving quality initiatives, overseeing inspection programming, calibration, and validations, and collaborating across teams to ensure customer satisfaction and continual improvement.

• Lead the Quality Control Group and supervise Metrology Lab personnel.
• Represent QC during ESI, APQP, PPAPs, etc. to achieve:
  • Prototype development and inspections.
  • pFMEAs.
  • Quality Control Planning and inspection fixturing.
  • Capability studies and Gage R&R’s.
  • First Article Inspections and Validations.
  • Supplier Change Requests (SCRs).
• Oversee inspection programming for new and existing products.
• Lead calibration efforts and ensure compliance.
• Support the Quality Group by:
  • Participating in Management Reviews.
  • Documenting and resolving nonconformances.
  • Driving Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  • Supporting internal and customer audits.
  • Conducting prototype inspections.
  • Assisting with continual improvement initiatives.

• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.
• Higher education in engineering or related field.
• Strong stamping/machining and/or manufacturing background with mechanical inspection knowledge.
• Proficiency in:
  • Mini Tab statistical analysis.
  • MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • CMM / VMM programming.
• Ability to manage multiple quality initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Knowledge of qualification procedures: PPAP, APQP, PMA, and vendor/supplier approvals.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Hands‑on leadership experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• Busy manufacturing facility with cross‑functional collaboration.
• Must be comfortable managing inspection, audits, and validations while following strict safety protocols.
