Hotel Sales Director

V2 Capital is looking for a dynamic and driven Director of Sales to lead revenue growth and build lasting client relationships in Shelton, CT. • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue across all segments
• Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, and group clients
• Oversee group, corporate, and catering sales efforts including RFP responses and contract negotiations
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and performance data to identify new business opportunities
• Collaborate with the General Manager / Regional Sales Director and revenue management team on pricing and forecasting strategies
• Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions

• 3–5+ years of hotel sales experience, with at least 2 years in a Director of Sales or senior sales leadership role
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of hotel sales segments including corporate, group, leisure, and catering
• Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) and CRM platforms
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred
