Regional Manager – Shelton, ConnecticutThe Regional Manager is responsible for leading the overall success of the region by developing sales talent, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional client service. This role partners closely with regional leadership to execute strategic initiatives, build strong relationships with clients and carrier partners, and cultivate a high‑performing team that supports Marshall+Sterling's mission and long‑term objectives.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Executives to achieve individual and regional sales goals.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor Sales Executives while providing ongoing performance management and development.
- Partner with Regional and Division leadership to execute sales strategies that support Marshall+Sterling's business objectives.
- Drive business growth through client retention, prospecting, cross‑selling, account rounding, and new business development.
- Monitor sales performance and recommend strategies to improve productivity and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal teams.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, insurance products, regulatory changes, and emerging technology.
- Maintain required insurance licenses and continuing education requirements.
- Represent Marshall+Sterling through professional organizations and community engagement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven sales and management skills.
- Excellent organizational and management skills.
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience with Vertafore a plus.
- Ability to delegate effectively.
- Works effectively and relates well with others including superiors, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the company in a professional manner.
- Appropriate state insurance licenses and continuing education required.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
- High level of organizational ability with attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Compensation: $250,000 – $275,000+, based on demonstrated insurance sales experience and measurable achievements.
