Maintenance Technician
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician where you will leverage your strong maintenance background. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and components such as pneumatic cylinders, hydraulics, solenoids, motors, roller chains, clutches, and conveyors.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on all plant manufacturing machines.
- Perform and document preventative maintenance activities and repairs of production equipment.
- Follow electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, equipment manuals, and safety procedures.
- Maintain and service all production machinery, using a multi-skilled approach, in accordance with equipment manufacturer's specifications.
- Carry out basic repairs to the building and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and complete necessary repairs both mechanical and electrical.
- Proven knowledge and experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with HMI/PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform basic fabrication using lathe and milling machines, band saw, and welding equipment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds.

Work EnvironmentWork in a cleanroom manufacturing facility with a schedule of 1st shift from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelton, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
