the Job Is

The Operations Administrator provides essential support to the NW Timberlands division by overseeing day‑to‑day office operations, facilities coordination, and administrative processes, while also supporting safety and compliance activities. This role plays a central part in keeping the office running effectively, including coordinating vendors and managing building needs and supporting administrative requests for the operation.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee day‑to‑day office operations for the Main Office and other company‑owned buildings, ensuring facilities are functional, organized, and well maintained.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance, repairs, and small building projects with vendors and contractors.
  • Manage relationships with service providers, including custodial, maintenance, and other facility‑related vendors.
  • Support office logistics such as building access, security coordination, space needs, and general office improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with building standards, fire codes, and applicable safety requirements.
  • Coordinate routine inspections and follow up on maintenance or corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage office supply procurement, custodial coordination, and facility‑related budgets.
  • Provide general administrative support, including routing phone calls, greeting visitors, supporting meetings, and handling mail and shipping.
  • Support division‑wide needs and administrative processes, including documentation, coordination, and communication.
  • Provide administrative support for the division's safety program, including tracking training, preparing materials, and supporting safety meetings and goals.
Who You'll Work With

This role works closely with all departments, safety and administrative teams to keep the division running smoothly. Success in this position requires strong organization, clear communication, and a practical understanding of how office environments, facilities, and safety processes intersect in day-to-day operations.

What You Need
  • Two or more years of office administration experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting operations, facilities, or safety/compliance activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) and familiarity with databases.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, use sound judgment, and work independently or as part of a team.
Compensation Details

Hourly pay range: $31.41 - $47.12. The pay range listed is just one component of Green Diamond's total compensation package. Other rewards include eligibility to receive a company-wide annual financial performance bonus, and the opportunity to receive an individual performance-based bonus, candidate referral bonuses, and spot bonuses.
