Schedule: 260 days per year (inclusive of holidays), 8 hours per day, M-F

Salary
: $120,398 - $143,027 annually, depending on experience.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Benefits: 13 paid holidays; 12 sick leave days, 5 days bereavement leave per occurrence; 25 days of vacation per year; ability to cash out up to 5 unused vacation days per year; health insurance benefits through the School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB) including medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability insurance for employee and eligible dependents. Retirement through the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems (DRS);

Job Summary: This position is responsible for independently leading complex, cross-functional work that affects district operations and teaching and learning initiatives. The position is expected to exercise substantial independent judgment, develop recommendations for executive consideration, make decisions within delegated authority, and assume ownership of projects and operational outcomes. Assignments are generally provided in terms of desired objectives rather than detailed methods or procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, education, organizational leadership, project management, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Ability to pass a Federal criminal background check.
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in project management, organizational operations, process improvement, public administration, or a related field, preferred (not required).
- Experience independently managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Experience analyzing operational issues, using data to evaluate options, and making recommendations to leadership.
- Experience developing or improving organizational processes, procedures, or systems.
- Experience in handling confidential or sensitive information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, spreadsheets, project-tracking systems, and document-management tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to develop and draft exceptional communications to a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently under broad direction and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities.
- Ability to analyze information, assess risks, make timely decisions, and recommend practical solutions.
- Ability to take calculated risks and accept accountability for decisions and results.
- Ability to lead cross-functional work and achieve results without relying on formal authority.
- Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and other complex information.
