Pioneer School District serves approximately 750 P-8 students and encompasses a rural area east of Shelton in the South Puget Sound region. Provides instructional support, intervention services, one‑on‑one support services, tutoring, lunch supervision, student behavior management, general classroom assistance, and other duties as assigned in support of student needs dependent on position.

• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and others in a warm and confident manner.
• Ability to provide reteaching of expectations and intervene when necessary.
• Ability to effectively and positively redirect student behaviors.
• Ability to maintain professional communication with classroom teachers and administrators.
• Ability to responsibly and respectfully supervise students, accompany students, and ensure appropriate discipline in the classrooms, halls, lunchroom and playground.
• Ability to be supervised and work professionally with classroom teachers who design schedules and daily activities.
• Ability to support students with academic support.

Pioneer Public School Employees Salary Schedule. Hourly $20.04 to $24.66 plus longevity pay at the end‑of‑the year, dependent on school district experience.

Employees who are anticipated to work 630 hours during the school year (September 1 through August 31) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, long term disability and basic life insurance benefits.
