6.5 hours at the Elementary School Our District:
Pioneer School District serves approximately 750 P-8 students and encompasses a rural area east of Shelton in the South Puget Sound region. PositionDescription:
Provides instructional support, intervention services, one-on-one support services, tutoring, lunch supervision, student behavior management, general classroom assistance, and other duties as assigned in support of student needs dependent on position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and others in a warm and confident manner.
- Ability to provide reteaching of expectations and intervene when necessary
- Ability to effectively and positively redirect student behaviors.
- Ability to maintain professional communication with classroom teachers and administrators.
- Ability to responsibly and respectfully supervise students, accompany students, and ensure appropriate discipline in the classrooms, halls, lunchroom and playground.
- Ability to be supervised and work professionally with classroom teachers who design schedules and daily activities.
- Ability to support students with academic support.

Pioneer Public School Employees Salary Schedule. Hourly $20.04 to $24.66 plus longevity pay at the end-of-the year, dependent on school district experience.
