SUMMARY:

The Keno Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Keno department by ensuring games are conducted accurately and on schedule, supervising and developing Keno Writers/Runners, maintaining compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls, resolving guest concerns, and serving as the Keno Manager in their absence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Keno department to ensure games are conducted accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Open and close the Keno operation following established departmental procedures.
  • Complete and review shift reports, payout documentation, and all required operational paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Oversee cash handling and payout procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and ongoing training to Keno Writers/Runners to promote exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
  • Create and manage daily break schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels and uninterrupted operations.
  • Maintain accountability for gaming keys and other assigned gaming assets during each shift.
  • Monitor team member performance and provide timely coaching, feedback, and corrective action as appropriate.
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, recognition, disciplinary actions, and other employment-related decisions by providing recommendations to the Keno Manager.
  • Communicate departmental updates, promotions, policies, procedures, and operational changes to team members.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain open communication with the Keno Manager regarding operational issues, staffing concerns, guest feedback, and departmental performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all Tribal Gaming Commission regulations, internal controls, departmental procedures, and Little Creek Casino Resort policies.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty for the Keno department in the absence of the Keno Manager.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
  • Assist with ball verification, game calling, ticket validation, and prize payouts.
  • Troubleshoot minor system and terminal issues, including printer and reader malfunctions, replacing paper supplies, and resetting terminals as needed.
  • Receive, verify, and accurately process customer wagers.
  • Scan and validate winning tickets and accurately distribute payouts.
  • Start, monitor, and secure gaming equipment at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Promote a positive guest experience by providing courteous, friendly, and professional service.
  • Document and communicate guest compliments, concerns, and operational issues to the Keno Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
