The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Supply Chain Technician team to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, distribution, replenishment, and delivery of supplies, equipment, and mail throughout the organization. This position supervises technician workflows related to storeroom operations, inventory control, PAR management, courier services, receiving, and supply distribution, and serves as backup support for procurement team operations during leadership absences or as operational needs require.

Under the direction of the Director of Supply Chain, the incumbent coordinates staffing, monitors productivity, maintains inventory accuracy within the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), supports customer service standards, and leads departmental process improvement initiatives. The Supervisor serves as a key resource for operational problem-solving, staff training, and maintaining supply chain continuity in support of patient care and organizational needs.

• Supervise and actively participate in the daily operations of Supply Chain Technicians, including scheduling, staffing, productivity, and workflow across storeroom, receiving, courier, PAR replenishment, and departmental delivery functions, while maintaining a consistent on-floor presence within the warehouse environment.
• Oversee storeroom and warehouse operations to ensure supplies are properly stocked, organized, secured, rotated, and readily accessible.
• Manage PAR replenishment processes, including monitoring usage trends, adjusting PAR levels, and ensuring timely replenishment to user departments.
• Supervise receiving, shipping, and internal courier services to ensure timely and accurate movement of supplies, equipment, mail, and other materials across the organization.
• Monitor inventory control processes including cycle counts, annual inventory, min/max levels, expiration management, and inventory accuracy within the Materials Management Information System (MMIS).
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and physical separation of medical supplies, housekeeping items, hazardous materials, and flammables in accordance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Identify supply shortages, backorders, service disruptions, or workflow issues and implement timely corrective action to maintain continuity of operations.
• Train, coach, evaluate, and support Supply Chain Technician staff in departmental procedures, safety practices, customer service standards, and system processes.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee development, corrective action, and performance management in coordination with department leadership.
• Develop, revise, and implement departmental policies, procedures, standard work, and training materials in collaboration with the Director of Supply Chain.
