Millwright / Maintenance Technician

Millwrights earn from $31.75 to $38.38 per hour, with low‑cost health benefits, a retirement plan with employer‑paid contributions, paid vacation and 10 holidays.

• Maintain and repair all mechanical parts and machinery in a manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot, install, replace, and repair machines and equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Dismantle machinery and equipment, locate causes of malfunction, and replace parts from stock or fabricate replacements as needed.
• Fabricate machine components for repairs and improvements of mechanical devices.
• Conduct and assess diagnostic tests to ensure optimum system functionality.
• Assemble, install, and proactively maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment for efficient operation.
• Operate arc welder, cutting torch, hand tools, forklift, and welding truck.
• Fabricate, weld, mill, and lathe as needed.
• Perform general maintenance safely and keep a clean work area.
• Work may involve various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays during busy production times.

• 2 years of recent verifiable related work history or equivalent education.
• Proficient in welding, cutting, and using hand tools for repairs.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and bearings.
• Ability to recognize, report, and repair mechanical defects.
• Industrial mill maintenance experience is a plus.
