Amergis Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) interested in contract correctional opportunities throughout Washington State. Multiple assignments are available, offering competitive pay, consistent schedules, and the opportunity to work in a variety of correctional healthcare settings.
LocationsClallam Bay, WA
- Travel LPN:
Up to $2,763/week gross - Local LPN: $41/hour
- Medium to Amergisum Security Facility
- Remote coastal location with access to outdoor recreation including hiking, fishing, and camping
- Limited housing availability; travelers should have housing secured prior to submission
Aberdeen, WA
- Travel LPN:
Up to $2,612/week gross - Local LPN: $44.80/hour
- Minimum to Medium Security Facility
- Located near the Washington coast with easy access to beaches and outdoor activities
- Housing can be limited during peak travel seasons
Shelton, WA
- Travel LPN:
Up to $2,486/week gross - Local LPN: $44/hour
- Minimum to Amergisum Security Facility
- Primary intake facility for the Washington State correctional system
- Previous ER, Med Surg, or Critical Care experience preferred
Gig Harbor, WA
- Travel LPN:
Up to $2,504/week gross - Local LPN: $35.50/hour
- Minimum to Amergisum Security Facility
- The only women's correctional facility in Washington State
- Most facilities operate on a 5x8 schedule (five 8-hour shifts per week)
- Day, evening, and night shifts may be available depending on facility needs
- Provide direct patient care within a correctional healthcare setting
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Assist with infirmary care, sick call, chronic care management, and emergency response
- Accurately document patient care and communicate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and nursing standards
- Active Washington LPN License or compact License
- Minimum of 2 years of LPN experience
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to pass all facility clearance requirements
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts based on facility needs
All candidates must complete a Corrections clearance process prior to being submitted for open assignments. Clearance is required for consideration at any facility and can take several weeks to complete. Many healthcare professionals choose to begin the clearance process in advance so they can be considered for both current and upcoming opportunities.
