POSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Replenishment Lead is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a professional and hospitable manner while supporting daily operations of The Trading Post stores. This role oversees shift operations related to receiving, ordering, and stocking Direct Store Delivery (DSD) vendor products, as well as supervising Inventory Replenishment Associates. The position is also responsible for maintaining overall store presentation, cleanliness, organization, and product availability to ensure efficient and positive customer experience.
ESSENTIALDUTIES
- Must be able to provide pleasant and courteous service to our customers; assist customers and respond to questions and requests in a pleasant and timely manner via the Circle of Service.
- Oversee and train Inventory Replenishment Associates to ensure consistency with procedures and practices set forth in the job description.
- Ensure all DSD and drop ship orders are received adhering to proper receiving guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Ensure constant communication with vendor sales representatives and review their orders for acceptable inventory level, pricing and signage.
- Order all grocery categories as needed to ensure proper inventory level.
- Identify slow moving items by working with the price book administrator and the store manager and seek new products to replace as needed.
- Ensure that the FIFO (first in first out) process is always followed.
- Maintain a constant awareness for out-of-date products and process them in compliance with vendor return or store waste policy.
- Demonstrate exceptional ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities of an Inventory Replenishment Associate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position will have supervisory responsibilities.

- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, follow safety and security procedures, solve routine operational issues, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment while maintaining dependable attendance.
- Proficient in POS and inventory systems, email, and standard computer applications including word processing software.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and follow the Squaxin Island Tribe's drug policies.
