- Hourly pay rate: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.
- Varied schedule; average weekly hours between 7–12 hours.
- Availability required during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
- Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Part‑time employees receive annual pay increases.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory using a mobile device; communicate with supervisor, report hours, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.
- Holiday support: work additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; some holidays may require work on the day itself.
- Department resets: assist with installations, fixture building, relocation of card departments, and resetting card sections; typically notified two weeks in advance; may involve evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: support fellow merchandisers within the field organization as needed.
Requires consistent pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may need to climb stairs and step ladders. Work involves both front‑of‑store and back‑stock areas.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum age 18.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Access to Wi‑Fi network and internet; ability to operate a digital hand‑held device.
- Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
- Capability to lift 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Paid training and various voluntary benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) available to part‑time employees with less than 30 hours.
