Program Manager, Physical Security and Access Control: This 1.0 FTE/Full-time position is scheduled to work 8-HR day shifts, Monday through Friday.
Compensation: Exempt, $39.48/HR-$56.40/HR

Job SummaryThe Program Manager for Physical Security and Access Control supports the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of Mason Health’s physical security and access control programs. This role oversees the day-to-day operation of access control, badge access, key management, surveillance, alarm, and panic button systems while supporting regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness activities, and security-related projects. The Program Manager collaborates closely with the Physical Environment and Security Manager, vendors, contractors, and internal departments to maintain a safe and secure environment across Mason Health facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Administers and maintains access control systems, staff and visitor badge access, facility key systems, and related security databases and records.
- Coordinates the operation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of surveillance, alarm, panic button, and other electronic security systems.
- Serves as the primary operational liaison for contracted security vendors and security system service providers; assists with contractor credentialing, compliance tracking, and performance coordination.
- Conducts routine audits, assessments, and monitoring activities related to badge access, key control, surveillance systems, and security processes to support regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Assists with the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of security-related policies, procedures, and standard work.
- Supports emergency preparedness and incident response activities, including maintaining working knowledge of ICM, NIMS, and EOC principles and participating in drills, exercises, and after-action follow-up activities.
- Coordinates and supports security-related projects, system upgrades, and technology enhancements, including project timelines, vendor coordination, documentation, and implementation activities.
- Provides training and education to staff related to access control, security systems, de-escalation techniques, and security procedures, as assigned.
- Collaborates with departments and leadership to address security concerns, support operational needs, and promote a safe and secure environment.
