Join us for the  school year!

Perform routine typing and general clerical activities in support of school staff. Apply procedures and policies within clearly specified procedures. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and etc. Knowledge of Infinite Campus preferred, but not required. Good customer service. All other duties as assigned.

Position Details

Hours: 5 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch)

Contract Length: 190 days per year

• 170 student instructional days
• 4 holidays
• 7 planning days
• 9 extended days

Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date

Employment Status: Full-time with benefits

Employment Type: 11-month employee on the classified pay schedule

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.
• Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.

  0): $16.46/hour
• Experienced Pay (Step 10): $20.26/hour

New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.

• The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.

Payroll

Note:

While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.
