Bullitt County Public Schools is always looking for Retired BCPS Teachers to be Substitute Teachers.
Candidates must be a Certified Teacher
You must wait 90 days after your retirement date to apply or work in the district.

* After completing your application, contact Tammie Collins at to let her know you have applied. Tammie.

* Send/email your Daily Wage Letter from KTRS
* You will need to complete the State Mandated CAN (Child Abuse & Neglect) check yourself ($10.00 Fee)
* If you have been retired less than 1 year, you need to complete a Reemployment Certification Form for Teachers' Retirement System
* You will complete the rest of your rehire paper work through Talent Records.
If your retirement from Bullitt County Public Schools is less than 1 year you will not be required to get a background check or physical!
