Join us for the school year! Hebron Middle School is seeking (3) three caring individuals who would be responsible for providing health care needs of students during the school day in accordance with state laws and district regulations. This person would collaborate with other assistants and teachers to provide a safe, healthy learning environment for students. Position Details
Hours:
6.5 hours per day (plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch) Contract Length: 183 days per year
* 170 student instructional days
* 4 holidays
* 7 planning days
* 2 extended days Contract Adjustments:
Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date Employment Status:
Full-time with benefits

10-month employee on the classified pay schedule Qualifications & Requirements
* Education:
Must meet one of the following:
* 48 college semester hours
* An Associate's Degree OR
* High school diploma plus a passing score on the Para educator Assessment Exam.
* Documentation:
Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire. Compensation & Experience Credit Salary for the school year will be based on Board approved salary schedule. Pay Scale
* Starting Pay (Step
0): $15.98/hour
* Experienced Pay (Step 10): $19.67/hour We value experience! Previous experience working with students? New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.
* The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR. Payroll
Note:
While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June. Salary Formula:
