Pleasant Grove Elementary is seeking a passionate, innovative, and student-centered educator to join our team in a Part-Time Related Arts Teacher position. This unique opportunity is designed to leverage the strengths and expertise of the selected candidate. We welcome applicants with backgrounds and talents in areas such as STEM, technology, keyboarding/typing, music, cultural studies, global learning, innovation, leadership, or other specialized fields that enrich the elementary school experience.

Responsibilities

* Plan, organize, and deliver high-quality instruction aligned to Kentucky Academic Standards and district expectations, as appropriate for the candidate's area of expertise.

* Create engaging, student-centered learning experiences that promote creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation.

* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.

* Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to support school-wide goals and initiatives.

* Integrate technology and best instructional practices to enhance student learning.

* Participate in professional learning opportunities and contribute positively to the school culture.

Desired Qualifications

* Demonstrated expertise or experience in a specialized area such as STEM, music, technology, keyboarding, cultural integration, innovation, leadership development, or a related field.

* Knowledge of effective instructional strategies and best practices for elementary learners.

* Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

* Commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning.

Candidate must have Kentucky Elementary Certification and possess all other requirements according to BCPS.

Position is for the  school year. Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the  school year.
