The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Office of Career and Technical Education and Student Transition (OCTE), Bullitt County Area Technology Center (ATC) in Shepherdsville, Kentucky has an opening for a Construction Carpentry Instructor.

This position is advertised as part of KRS Chapter 156 OCTE for employment through the Office of Career and Technical Education. It is not subject to the provisions of KRS 18A for classified or unclassified service.

• Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
• Performs other duties as required.

In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers’ Retirement System.

OR Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;
OR Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
