Bullitt County Public Schools is always looking for qualified substitute teachers.
The minimum qualifications (in order to be Emergency Substitute Certified) are below.
Emergency Certified Guest Teachers/Substitute Teachers
The successful candidate must have earned a minimum of a high school diploma or GED in order to be Emergency Sub Certified.
The Emergency Substitute Certification is issued for 1 year, requires a district application process, and is limited to the specific district.
There is no cost for the Emergency Substitute Certificate.
Regular Certified Guest Teachers/ Substitute Teachers
Candidates holding a BA/BS can apply for the 5 year Substitute Teaching Certificate with the KY Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB). The cost is $15.00.
Candidates holding a teaching certificate can apply for the 10 year Substitute Teaching Certificate with EPSB. The cost is $15.00.

- Rank V64-95 Hours Emergency Certification
- Rank IV96 – 128 hours OR BS/BA Degree

- Rank IIMaster's Degreew/ Teaching Certificate
- Rank IMaster's Degree + 30 hrsw/ Teaching Certificate
