Zoneton Middle School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Moderate and Severe Disabilities Special Education Teacher who is passionate about supporting diverse learners and ensuring all students achieve at high levels.

Candidates must hold certification for teaching students with Moderate and Severe Disabilities (MSD).

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned to grade-level standards and student needs.
• Provide specially designed instruction in inclusive settings, including co‑teaching, small group, and resource support.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure all students have access to rigorous, high-quality instruction.
• Use data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to maximize growth.
• Create a structured, supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and empowered.
• Promote student independence, self‑advocacy, and respect for diversity.
• Communicate consistently with families and team members to support student success.
• Actively engage in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) focused on continuous improvement.

This position is for the 2026‑2027 school year. Salary will be based on the board‑approved salary schedule for that year.
