This is a full‑time position with benefits. The School Designated Guest Teacher (permanent substitute) will report to Hebron each instructional day (170 instructional days + 4 paid holidays = 174 days). The SDGT will be assigned to HMS and perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent within the school.

Travel requirement: If there are no teacher absences at the assigned school on a particular day, the SDGT may be required to fill a teacher absence at another school location that day.

Minimum requirement: Must have a Bachelor's Degree

Salary: $130 to $156 Substitute per day (Based on the board approved salary schedule for the  school year)

• $20,000 life insurance policy - paid for by the State of Kentucky
• $30,000 life insurance policy - paid for by Bullitt County Public Schools
• Health Insurance (employee monthly premium based on plan selected)
• Waiver HRA or Waiver HRA limited purpose
• Sick Leave, Personal Leave and Emergency Leave (prorated depending upon start date)
• Personal Leave not used in school year rolls over to sick leave
• Earn 2 more sick days if you do not use any sick leave during school year
