Job DescriptionPleasant Grove Elementary is seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who fosters a student‑centered, engaging, and standards‑aligned learning environment that empowers all students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver standards‑aligned instruction
- Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom culture
- Maintain effective classroom management
- Use data to meet students' diverse academic and social‑emotional needs
- Integrate technology into instruction and assessment
- Collaborate with families and colleagues
- Engage in PLCs
- Communicate regularly with colleagues, administration, and families
- Actively participate in school‑wide initiatives and professional development
This position is for the 2026‑2027 school year and placement will be determined upon the candidate's strengths.
Candidate must have Kentucky Elementary Certification and possess all other requirements according to BCPS.
Salary based on board‑approved salary schedule for the 2026‑2027 school year.
