Bullitt Central High School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as an ESS (Extended School Services) Daytime Waiver Instructional Tutor.This position focuses on working with individual or small groups of students during the school day to provide targeted academic interventions and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide small group academic interventions in reading and/or math

• Follow instructional plans developed by classroom teachers and intervention teams

• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Analyze student data to monitor growth and adjust support as needed

• Report student progress to teachers and leadership teams

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to meet individual student needs

• Support a positive and encouraging learning environment

Position Details

Hours: 1.5 hours per day

Contract Length:174 days per year

Contract Adjustments:Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date

:10-month employee on the classified pay schedule

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education:Must meet
  one
  of the following:
• 48 college semester hours
• An Associate’s Degree OR
• High school diploma
  plus
  a passing score on the Para educator Assessment Exam.
• Documentation:Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.

Compensation & Experience Credit

Pay Scale

• Starting Pay (Step
  0):$16.46/hour
• Experienced Pay (Step 10):$20.26/hour
