Financial Manager, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Financial Compliance, Corporate Finance
LHH is assisting our Shepherdsville manufacturing and construction client in their search for a hands-on, strategic, and forward-thinking VP of Finance & Accounting to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and trusted business partner to the CFO and President. Reporting directly to the the CFO, the VP of Finance & Accounting will oversee all financial operations while helping guide the organization through its next phase of growth and scalability.
The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing and/or construction experience, deep operational finance expertise, and the ability to provide sophisticated financial insights to support continued expansion, banking relationships, and future strategic initiatives.
- Partner closely with the leadership team to develop and execute long-term growth strategies.
- Lead accounting, finance, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics to support business decision-making.
- Oversee annual audited financial statements and maintain relationships with external auditors.
- Partner with operations leadership to improve profitability, productivity, cost management, and inventory efficiency.
- Analyze manufacturing performance, margins, pricing strategies, and operational metrics.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build scalable finance processes and organizational structure to support future growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior finance responsibility.
- Strong manufacturing or construction industry experience. Demonstrated success leading finance organizations through periods of significant growth.
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
- Experience managing external audits and banking relationships.
- Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.
