Overview

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within educational settings. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in working with school-aged children to address speech and language disorders, enhancing their communication abilities and overall academic success.

Location:

• Shepherdsville, KY (Travel required)

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
• Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student improvements
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Travel between assigned schools to deliver therapy services as needed

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP
• Experience working with children in a school environment preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage caseload independently and maintain confidentiality
