We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, energetic Night Sweeper to maintain the cleanliness of our school community. This person will perform routine custodial activities at Pleasant Grove Elementary School site or facility to maintain buildings, and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly and secure condition. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, is trustworthy, works well with others, and maintains an excellent attendance.

NOTICE OF POSSIBLE WAIVER:
Per KRS 160.380, to expedite the hiring for this position, the district may apply for a waiver to prevent disruption of necessary instructional or support services.

• Hours:
  
  6 hours per day (plus a 30 minute unpaid lunch)
• Work Year: 182 days
• 170 student instructional days
• 4 holidays
• 7 planning days
• 1 extended day
• Contracted days will be adjusted based on start date.
• This position is considered full-time with benefits.

Step 0: $14.41 per hour

Step 10: $16.40 per hour

New employees may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. Upon hire, it is the employee’s responsibility to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their previous employer.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must provide a copy to HR once recommended for hire
