Notice of possible waiver:
Per KRS 160.380, to expedite hiring, the district may apply for a waiver to prevent disruption of instructional or support services.

Hourly rate: $14.41 (Step 0: $14.41; Step 10: $16.40).

Base pay: $30,000 per year.

Position: 5 hours per day, 182 days per year (170 instructional days, 4 holidays, 7 planning days, 1 extended day).

Formula: hours per day × hourly rate = daily rate; daily rate × contracted days = salary; salary ÷ number of pays left = gross bi‑weekly pay.

• Maintain cleanliness of the school building and grounds.
• Perform routine custodial activities to keep the facility in a clean, orderly, and secure condition.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Provide a copy to HR upon recommendation for hire.

• $20,000 life insurance policy (paid for by the State of Kentucky).
• $30,000 life insurance policy (paid for by Bullitt County Public Schools).
• Health insurance or waiver HRA or waiver HRA limited purpose.
• Sick leave, personal leave, and emergency leave (prorated depending on start date).
• Personal leave not used rolls over to sick leave.
• Earn 2 additional sick days if no sick leave is used during the school year.
• Kentucky Public Pensions Authority retirement membership.
• Optional dental and vision coverage.
• Optional Sick Leave Bank membership.
• Optional blood borne pathogen/Hepatitis B (3‑dose) immunization series.
• Optional insurance/benefits through American Fidelity.
