Partners Personnel is currently seeking Quality Assurance associates for our client in the Shepherdsville, KY. These positions are Temp-to-Hire and provide the opportunity to be hired as a permanent employee & grow with the company.
LOCATION:
Shepherdsville, KY
SHIFT/PAY Options Available:
2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Monday - Friday) $19.00/hr
3rd shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am (Sunday - Thursday) $19.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
* Print price tickets as required to fulfill customer requirements
* Inspect and validate SKU accuracy against purchase orders
* Inspect and validate color against purchase orders
* Inspect and validate size against purchase orders
* Inspect and validate ticketing compliance against purchase orders
* Inspect and validate quantities against purchase orders
* Inspect and validate proper hanger seeding when required by purchase orders
* Accurately enter all non-compliances into the computer system
* Apply the APL Logistics Continuous Improvement (ACI) Model to improve operational efficiency, increase proficiency, and eliminate waste
* Apply 5S Lean methodology to maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility
* Meet and occasionally exceed company standards for:
* Safety
* Quality
* Productivity
* Customer service
Qualifications
* Strong attention to detail
* Basic computer skills and data entry experience
* Ability to follow established procedures and quality standards
* Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment
* Previous quality assurance or inspection experience preferred but not required
