POSITION SUMMARY:
Play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process as a CNC Programmer. In this position, you will be tasked with developing CNC programs and operating advanced CNC machinery to create precision components for our innovative bus manufacturing processes. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to quality and efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Write and optimize CNC programs using advanced CAD/CAM software to ensure the efficient production of parts.
- Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers, according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine necessary machining steps.
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures to enhance production quality and efficiency.
- Monitor production processes for accuracy, performing adjustments and troubleshooting as required.
- Conduct inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of output.
- Collaborate with engineers to refine designs and improve manufacturability.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to machine settings, maintenance logs, and production reports.
- Foster a safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and practices.
